We are the young people who want to change the world.
We are putting our foot forward against climate change because we have the most to lose.
We are demanding a stop on the use of fossil fuel as an energy source.
We don't want to live in a disaster of our own making, our future is at stake.
We are one with our brothers and sisters around the world demanding a shift to renewable energy.
WE DEMAND CLEAN ENERGY NOW!

SIGN THE PETITION! Turn the Tide for an Energy [R]evolution

ASK PRESIDENT AQUINO TO SIGN ON 50% RENEWABLE ENERGY BY 2020.

The World needs action, not talk in the fight against Climate Change. The Philippines can lead the way.

The event was organized by EarthDecay based in San Pablo City, Laguna, Philippines in partnership with Greenpeace Solar Generation.
The concert was attended by young people and bands coming from different places like Manila, Cebu, San Pablo City etc., Some performing bands sell their music albums and t-shirts, other displayed their brochures and poetry collections on the table provided by the organizers during the concert while from our team composed of Greenpeace volunteers and Solar Generation set-up the banners with a message “DON’T MELT AWAY OUR FUTURE! FULL POWER FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY!” and Clean Energy Now!, LCD for film showing on Greenpeace campaigns while the bands are playing. We had also a table where we displayed the campaign materials and the Energy Revolution 50% renewable energy by 2020 petition. Chuck our Greenpeace new media also gave a short message to the audience and a video presentation about greenpeace and its campaigns. We also informed the people visiting our booth about the shiptour and invited them to come and join us.
One of the aims of this project is to provide information about the Energy Revolution and to get support from performing bands and its audience by signing the off-line petition as part of a call to President Benigno Aquino III to lead the Philippines on the road to an Energy Revolution.
This is in support to the President’s vision to become the ‘Renewable Energy (RE) Champion of Southeast Asia.
Greenpeace is asking P’Noy to come aboard the Greenpeace flagship, the Rainbow Warrior, when she visits Manila this November, to sign on to the Energy Revolution road map.
